Next Review, Great Indie Games on sale, & Steam for Mac!!!

Just posting an update, the next game review is Rocket Knight for the Sega Genesis, after which we will be looking at the new version that is out for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC, I will also be doing a small history over Rocket Knight as it has a long and interesting tale behind it, much like it’s protagonist, Sparkster.

I would like to mention that Wolfire Games is having the Humble Indie Bundle sale, 6 great indie games in a bundle, you name the price, really, you can make the price as low as 1 cent if you want to, anyway the games work on windows, Linux, and Mac, have no drm (not even the download links are protected), and the best part is that you choose how the money is spent, all to charity, all to developers, or split. I read a news article that said that nearly 25 percent of the downloads they see are possibly piracy, I thought that was sad, people won’t even give a penny to get anything legal. Checkouts are done through paypal, amazon, google, you choose who you buy through, and you can even gift the games!

One last thing, Steam is now out for everyone on Mac, and to celebrate they are giving portal to everyone (Mac and PC) for free until the 24th, while I did criticize Portal’s shortness it is still great for a play through and you can’t beat the price. The best part about Steam being on Mac is that when you buy a game for one platform you get it for the other for free, and all of your back catalog works as well. Welcome to the party Mac gamers!!!

Beatles Rockband, I rocked my face off!

Ok, Beatles Rockband is the 100th episode game of choice, so last night my cousin, uncle and I played for 2 hours straight, this was after my workout, so I was beat non the less, but you know what, it was fun, and it is a fine game. See you soon on the 100th Episode!
