Ok, so I ordered a game and wanted it before I went on a trip this week, normally I just order it from ebgames.com and choose next day and it’s setting in my hands around 12:30 PM.  Well, last night I get a phone call to say that I have to “verify” my order.  I appreciate the security measure Gamestop has taken, but I have spent hundreds of dollars with them in online orders and to have something like this pop up out of nowhere is inconvenient, I had to call them the next day as by the time I got the message the verification office was closed.  Speaking with the gentleman in the office He said based on my ordering history that it was a fluke that I even had to call in the first place and they offered free shipping, I declined as it still would be too late.  After the call I got an email from Gamestop giving me $10.00 off anything over $20.00 in the store excluding bundles and systems.  So the moral of the story : We live in a dangerous world where bad things happen, there are those who look out for our safety and it can cause inconvenience. But as the old adage goes, it’s better to be safe than sorry.
